"Leading to Independence" Poem

Everything is destroyed....
Nothing can be found….
Because of the Demolition….
That destroyed everything….

Japan deserved what they got…
Now they have to face it…
The deadliest bomb ever...
Is upon them…

Fat boy…
Little man…
They did it…
America did it…

They made the Japanese suffer…
They ended the world war…
By demolition…

America bombs Hiroshima and Nagasaki..
Japan went back to their land..
Leaving Indonesia empty..
And inspired indonesia to become independent..

Japan now is destroyed…
Indonesia got their freedom..
And so ended the world war..
Along with the end of Nazi…

And Hitler…

Journey to the Center of the Earth Book Review

I really like this book because the plot is amazing, I like the story, it tells you about the adventure the main character had to the center of the earth, and how they do it, I also like the character even though he is scared at first but later on, he became adventurous, he also had a fiancé, so there is also a little bit love story in this book, for the people how like love themed books, the other character that helped the main character venture to the center of the earth is also nice and also has a sense of adventure, the only problem is, he is sometimes impatient and can be reckless and doesn’t have someone he love. The only conflict that I found yet in this book is the main character “Axel” had to leave his fiancé, and how they need to escape  the volcano and I really like it. The setting mostly take place in Icelandic and the underground the place where they travelled to the center of the earth, I don’t really know why they has to use Icelandic for it, but I like the underground part because it is full of adventure. I like the theme because I like adventure books and travelling, yes the theme is adventure, it’s perfect for people who love adventures or adventure books

Osmosis Energy and Wind Energy Experiment

Osmosis Energy is a new kind of Alternative energy, that is first used in Norwegia, Osmosis energy works in the sea, because it needs the salt in sea water to works.
The salt that is from the sea water pushes the turbine making an energy.

From the past 2 or 3 weeks, my group and i, make an experiment involving wind energy, we make a thing that look like a small windmill, out of pipes that has been painted, and then we stick a small fan at the top, and stick the fan to a generator in the back so it can produce energy.

Wind Energy

Indonesia is a country, that has a lot of potential energy, Indonesia has a lot of potential for alternative energy, but Indonesia also has a lot of coal, fossils and other main energy, but unfortunately the main energy is running out because people keep using it nonstop. by overusing electricity and leaving them on when we are not using it, and also using our cars to a place that is near from the place we are on, we are wasting energy

That is why i think we should move and use Alternative energy, wind energy because Indonesia has a lot of windy higher grounds, wind energy has less side effects, it's not dangerous at all, and we can use it almost all the time, and i think it is a goof replacement for our main energy that is currently running out because people keep using it.

English Reading Log 4

Log for the week of February 27
Title: Journey to the Center of the Earth
Author: Jules Verne
Pages Read: 26 -  45                                      Strategy: Connect
Response:
The story in the pages i read is very similiar to a book i have read called around the world in 80 days because in here it is said that Liedenbrock and Axel is traveling to Icelandic through boats and trains like in the around the world in 80 days book.

But there is also a difference here between Liedenbrock and Phileas Fogg, Liedenbrock is impatient and likes to rush things but Phileas Fogg has a lot patience and he never rushes things

English Reading Log 3

Log for the week of February 26
Title: Journey to the Center of the Earth
Author: Jules Verne
Pages Read: 1-26                                           Strategy: Predict
Response:
I think that Professor Liedenbrock will find his way to the center of the earth through the Snaefells volcano, he will maybe encounter some unecpected troubles, find and discover new thing that he didn't know about and finally reach the center of the earth

And i also think that Axel will made it through the center of the earth, got back home safely and marry Grauben just like she promise

Types of Energy

There are different types of energy.
Kinetic Energy: Is an energy that are in motion, like flowing water and wind
Potential Energy: Is an energy that stored something, that has a potential in it.like the lake in mountains
Mechanical Energy: is the energy of motion that is working and moving, like the windmill
Heat Energy: Is an energy that is powered by heat or fire, like the fire in a fireplace
Chemical Energy: An energy that is caused by a chemical reaction, like a cooked food, or burned things
Electrical Energy: electric that is creating motion heat or light
Gravitational Energy: A motion caused by gravity, like a falling apple from it's tree

English Reading Log 2

Log for the week of January 29-5
Title: Around The World in 80 Days
Author: Jules Verne
Pages read: 84-144                                    Strategy: Visualize
Response: I think that Phileas Fogg look like a really nice and handsome gentleman wearing all black, and also i think that Passerpatout look a bit french because in the book, it is stated that he is born in french not england, but was raised in england

Also i think at that time everything including england, ships and trains looked very classic from now because it is around 1800 in the book

English Reading Log 1

Log for the week of January 24-29
Title: Around The World in 80 Days
Author: Jules Verne
Pages read: 64 to 84                                    Strategy: Predict
Response:
I think after Phileas and Aouda leave Passepartout in hong kong unconscious, Passepartout will later travel alone and catch up with Phileas and Aouda in japan or in america, and i think that Detective Fix won't going to succeed  arresting Phileas because he keeps failing every time

Magnet

Magnet is something that can attract metallic object and repel other magnets, it also produces magnetic field.
Magnets have two poles, they are called north and south, they both attract iron, cobalt, but they repel each other, but if a different pole meet each other than they will attract. Magnetic field is the field or the area that appears when a magnetic force is happening, Electric Field is the field or the area that appears when there is an object that has an electric charge in it. An Electromagnet is some kind of a magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by an electric current

Electricity Experiment

For the past 3 days me and my class did a little experiment, it was an experiment related to electricity, electrons, and SCIENCE!!, we created a parallel and a series circuit, soo the materials that we use are, some AA batteries at least you must have 6, 1 or 2 meter wire, a wire clipper, a lighter, some tiny light bulbs at least 3,  tape, and 2 pieces of infra board.

what we did for the series is that we tape 2 batteries, use the lighter to get the thin copper inside the wire, connect the copper to the end of the battery, and connect it to another wire that is connecting to a tiny light bulb that is connecting to the other side of the battery, and then tape all of them into the infra board, press both copper wire that is connecting to each side of battery, and... voilà!! the light bullb turn on!

for the parallel it's basically the same, the only difference is that we the middle part of the wire, making it into 2 pieces, and burn the 2 pieces of wire to get the copper, and connect it to 2 tiny light bulbs

AC and DC

in and electrical current, there is something called Alternating Current (AC) and Direct Current (DC)

AC or Alternating Current is a current that flows in a different direction, or in the opposing direction

DC or Direct Current is a current that flows in the same way

some examples from them is that, switches that are from walls, like a refrigerator, washer, lights, and ovens are AC and electronics that are powered by a battery like a cell phone, flashlight are DC

Potential Difference, Electric Current, and Electric Resistance

In an electrical circuit the the electrons from the battery moves around the circuit, when an electron pass through a light bulb in the circuit they lose some of the electrical energy making the lamp to lit up, therefore across the lamp there is an electrical energy difference, electrons that are entering the lamp have a higher electrical energy than the one leaving the lamp, this difference in electrical energy on lamp is called "Potential Difference" or "P.D".

The crash or the bump of electrons and wire in an electrical circuit, making it harder for the electrons to flow properly in an electrical circuit are called Electric Resistance.

The flow of electrons in an electrical circuit are called Electric Current

Volts (V) is a measuring unit used by Potential Difference, Potential Difference is also measured using a Voltmeter

Amperes (A)  is a measuring unit used by Electric Currents

Ohms (Ω) is a measuring unit used by Electric Resistance

Static Electricity

In this world, almost everything is made out of Atoms, Atoms are the basic building block of matter, and Atoms are made out of 3 things Protons, Electrons, and Neutrons each of them has their own properties Proton have a positive charge, Electrons have a negative charge, and Neutrons are neutral or no charge.
Today, me and my group do an experiment in class, we rub a plastic folder into someone's hair, shirt, pants and then we try to hover the plastic thing on tiny pieces of paper and sharpener waste, what happen is that the tiny pieces of paper and the sharpener waste stick to the plastic thing. and that is because, that plastic thing gains electrons from the thing we rub on (hair, shirt, pants) making that plastic thing negatively charge, making the tiny piece of paper and the sharpener waste attracted to the negatively charge plastic thing because the tiny piece of paper and the sharpener are full of protons and positive charge.

In an electrical circuit the cell or battery pushes the electrons around the circuit, when an electron pass through a lamp in the circuit they lose some of the electrical energy making the lamp to lit up, therefore across the lamp there is an electrical energy difference, electrons that are entering the lamp have a higher electrical energy than the one leaving the lamp, this difference in electrical energy on lamp is called "Potential Difference" or "P.D". Potential difference is measured in units called "Volts" and has the symbol V it is also measured by something called a Voltmeter

Electric current is the movement of electrons from the negative terminal to the positive terminal of a circuit. This is because electrons are negatively charged and want to move away from the negative terminal and head towards the positive terminal, that is called "Conventional Current Flow"
